SMF SQL Database File Import
« on: April 22, 2018, 12:24:25 pm »
Hi.  I have my SQL export from my previous SMF site and I wanted to import it here.  I paid for the "download" upgrade as it said I could also upload but I suppose I misread that lol.

How might I go about migrating my SMF forums here?

Thanks.

I'm 2.0 ... here's the info:

SMF PackageSMF 2.0.6SMF 2.0.14
Sources2.0.22.0.15
Default Templates2.02.0.14
Language Files2.02.0.14

So if it's already 2.0 as specified, what do I do to import it then? I can't find that feature in my admin section.  Please advise.

You need the database export you can do under admin -> forum maintenance  or from your host with phpmyadmin

I'm sorry, but I am getting nothing at all out of these replies that help me.  Do you have a service or some such that will help me to migrate my current smf forum that's at www.godsofvalor.com/community, to my smf here at godsofvalor.smfnew2.com ?  I am just not finding the solutions to make this happen in the admin features where you're directing me.
