Help With Making a logo
« on: April 20, 2008, 04:54:15 am »
Hey Im new to this and ive spent countless hours searching for decent logos and trying to make my own using various programs. I was wondering if anyone who is experienced with these things could put one together for me using the graphics i added with the words nutz for pc in the logo?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Micky

Hey Mickyg123!

Basically, you want the two pictures to be merged together, right?

I can do this, but first of all, could I have a size please (in pixels).

For example, a signature is 400x100 (normal size) and an avatar is 100x100 (normal size).

Hi, I see the threads a little old but would you mind posting the end result?  I'm curious to see how it turned out and know how you did it...

I'm no image expert but I'm guessing after any resizing that was necessary you'd probably past the flames in on another layer, move that layer to the background, started with adjusting that layers alpha value/transparency?  Or can you do some kind of gradient transparency fade to the flame image?

Just curious about the techniques.
Thanks

Adam
