All back to normal!
« on: October 08, 2012, 11:21:47 am »

Gosh what a month, moving servers ended up being a nightmare! We have now moved to lightning a lightning fast server network faster than SMFNew has ever been before!

We can only apologise for the last month but moving over 50,000 forums is no easy task. We hit many road bumps along the way, however they are all now fixed.

Hope you enjoy the news speeds,

If you have any further problems please reply to this post.

Alex

It sure took some time, but it was worth the waiting to solve the problems. I'm happy smfnew finally is back. You all did a great job; well done!

Just two quick questions as we're still on about it:
Does the "private domain" approval work fine now, then? And..- Will you add any more, new features to the forums now as the server network is waaaaay faster now? Such as language packages and/or other "block"-features.

Every time I make a post or reply to comments on my forum appears the following error:

"Unknown table engine 'InnoDB'
File: /home/smfnew/public_html/smf/2/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 2018

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.1, while your database is at version 2.0. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php."

I agreed to the maintenance area (Find and repair any errors)and does not mark errors in the forum:

"Listing of forum errors
Congratulations, no errors found! Thanks for checking.
Back to Forum Maintenance"

Also I optimize all tables and in the Administration Center there is a warning:

"Support Information
Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 2.0.1
Current SMF version: SMF 2.0.2"

"Update Available!
You're using an outdated version of SMF, which contains some bugs which have since been fixed. It is recommended that you update your forum to the latest version as soon as possible. It only takes a minute!"

I click the link to update the forum and nothing happens:

I just hope I can get a solution, grateful in advance for any help you can give me

I can't modify boards, it says:

Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_7c1_0.MYI' (Errcode: 28)
File: /home/smfnew/public_html/smf/2/Sources/Subs-Boards.php
Line: 1047

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.1, while your database is at version 2.0 RC4. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

http://darkice.smfnew.com

My forums is still having the same problem it's had since you started moving servers.... It also does it on every single page.

Same as everyone else...
Code: [Select]
Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_7c1_0.MYI' (Errcode: 28)
File: /home/smfnew/public_html/smf/1/Sources/Subs-Portal.php
Line: 306

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.15, while your database is at version 1.1.8. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

Any idea when my forum will be fixed? It's been down for 1-2 months now..........
