(Update) RULES

Hello Delightful User,

For the support team to give you sufficient and effective support, we will need you to make suitable threads which help us help you. Please read a few of the following guidelines to make sure your topic meets the standards.

1) TITLE - Your topic MUST have a Meaningful title. We may delete / close threads which do not have a title which suits the problem. We keep records and urge you to make a decent title so we can investigate the issue in question.

2) FORUM DELETION - We do not delete forums upon request. We very rarely delete forums due to possible future violation reports. In the rare case you present to us a strong reason (legal issues for example), we may do so.

3) WHEN SOLVED - When a member of our staff have solved one of your issues, or you've realised what you have to do, click the "Mark Topic as Solved" bar above the main post. This will change the prefix to "TOPICSOLVED", and lock the topic.

These were the words of Matt. The former administrator of SMFNew.

A rules update (In my definition):

  • No spamming. (Posting things that are completly off topic etc.)
  • Do not bump old topics. (Posting in topics long outdated)
  • Respect other users and staff members.
  • Make sure you use the search box before posting. (To find if your question has been posted and answered before)
  • Post in the correct section.
  • Pay attention to what you are posting.
  • Make sure your post are clear and make sense.
  • Make sure you carefully watch what others are posting so you know what you are about to post.

Follow these rules and you'll be in good shape. :)

Honestly, those are general rules for the forum, but the rules in that sticky are based upon what we are looking for in terms of general layout on support topics. :)
