I guess the topic of the thread is quite clear. Am I allowed to advertise about my forum which is not hosted on SMFNEW? (on the Showoff section).

1) You placed this topic in the wrong forum. If you read our standard set of forum rules, the very FIRST line of the rules tells you:

This tells me you havn't even read our standard forum rules. Of which, if you did, you would have found the answer to your original question. But because I know you honestly won't read them:
2) You may only advertise forums which we host. If you advertise a forum which is not hosted by us, you will be given a permanent infraction worth 2 points.
