No, I'm pretty sure you can't. You'd have to customize it quite a bit. :P

Maybe I misread the OP's first post, but it sounds to me like he's running a MyBB forum. :P

I'm assuming you're using SMF. I will tell you how to do question 1 in SMF, because I don't know MyBB. :P

Go into the user's profile, and click on "Account Related Settings". Then look for the box saying "Posts". Modify it to whatever you want. :)

As for question 2, SMFNew doesn't remove or delete forums for any reason. Sorry. However, you CAN disable it. If you would like, go ahead and read this topic to tell you how:

Good luck! :)

As you can guess, I am of German heritage (and British heritage as well as Swedish) and I speak a little German. :) A little about me:

I go by Jacob, most of the time
I am 21 (was 16 at the time of posting this)
I design games/media and aspire to be an innovator and an entrepreneur
I am a self-taught vocalist and I play guitar with a little piano/keyboards
I am a writer, as writing runs in my blood
I've run/co-run a vast plethora of forums and communities
I am a VERY amateur software programmer (Not even to the point where I'm able to design any software without libraries or some kind of base resources)
I play various MMOs (mostly The Elder Scrolls Online, Guild Wars 2 and RuneScape), as well as a lot of different RPGs, shooters, stealth games, etc.

I also look forward to helping some people out if I can! :)

I think he means his site. Lol, if you are running v. 2.0 RC3/4, you can set some tags and keywords to attract more users to your forum. If you are using 1.1.11/12, you should just get some members to help you advertise in different places, and your forum should show up sooner or later. :) (That's what I did, as my first forum is with SMFForFree, and with 1.1.11, and I had others who helped advertise. Now, I have quite a few posts for a small forum.)

Did you possibly modify any server-type configurations?

Odd, I see what you mean. I'm not exactly sure what is going on here, but I'm sure YOU can't fix it. (Duh. ;) ) Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do either. :P

It's not wise to post details to an admin account, so I went onto that test account and put it as a regular member. Feel free to put it as an admin again, but I'd advise changing the password. ;)

Good work! I have a similar style when I do logos for others, but I use Fireworks, rather than GIMP and Photoshop. (Much less time-consuming)

You could just copy the contents of any text blocks, and paste it back into a block when you are done restoring the backup. :)

So, by saying "It does go in fits and spurts", it doesn't happen all the time? Kind of different. :P

Odd. Are you able to access anything at all?
