I would get anywhere from 3-5 emails a day for new memberships, but when I would go in and look at my members list there would be even more that I had not got an email for that were allowed to register. So I'd say on average all total 30 to 35 a week.

Just updating, our forum was fine for a day or so and now its back to kicking people off and not being able to get on at all. It does go in fits and spurts.

Almost all of my forum members are located in the UK. Most if not all of them that I have spoke with are having trouble with a very slow forum. Sometimes its fine and others it slows right down, Timing out when posting, taking forever to log in and post to threads. This has been going on for at least a month but seems to be getting worse. All have different ISP's and most use FireFox or one uses Safari and has the same result and have all upgraded to the new 3.6.12 version for FF.

This is a message that a few members got yesterday:

The connection has timed out:

The server at www.dogsandco.smfnew.com is taking too long to respond.

    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a     few moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Any ideas on how we can speed things up?

Thanks

All of my members have either switched to Firefox, Google Chrome or turned off their smartscreen filter and are having no problems what so ever.

The only members that reported problems were using IE.
