I'm getting sick off this!!!! It takes about 2 mins to load a page sort it out!!!!

We found what was causing the load, we have stopped the script,

I am having a similar issue. Often times, pages might not load for 3-10 seconds, but generally it's 5 seconds. One of my members pointed it out today. Others have confirmed that it has been happening for a few days.

This is due to backups, at the moment is unavoidable.

I assume that is your backing all the forums? Or just your systems? And do you know how much longer it will be if you know? Thank you! :)

Yes, we have a top-of-the-line system that backs up all of the forums on our network daily. :) And unfortunately, lag usually happens around the time when the backups start, which is to say it will happen every day. But we're looking into making it so the backups happen but don't cause as much lag - please bear with us. :)
