Hey I have just made a new forum and i purchased the ultimate plan along with it! But my features havent seemed to appear yet as its asking me to buy the stuff still! Is there a wait time till my ultimate plan activates? Thanks

I know guys the same thing for me to but not my other users! It lost me alot of members i tryed to remove it with google web tools but they didt pick anythig up but ive been on smfnew for a while now and i put alot of work into it

Well, it's just that you don't know all of your users in real life, and they really could be some ultra-creepo stalkers. 
Hahah well we have discussed going e3 next year and we are thinking about it and streaming it on utube but we also need other ideas maybe like a mod tool or something

Well, have you tried a small advertising campaign? Also, your site is a gaming site. There are a LOT of gaming sites across the internet. To stay on top, you need to be willing to innovate. Do what no other gaming site has done!
Im trying to think of something new do. Uhav any ideas?

Hey guys devin here and lately my site t8dnation.com has gone down hill for a few months now and im litteaurly paying to watch my site fail and looking back on my smfnew posts from years ago (or months haha) the site was doing so well then all of suden only recently about 4 months it just went so unactive an now theres only me and about 3 otherss its just sad to see it go like this (a bit weird) but ive worked hard on it and ive had pro hosting since nearly day 1 of the site from about
A year and more now so have you guys got any ideas to get my site active again and get members?? Even if i have to pay thanks guys!!!

Well, I'd say that in addition to posting about your forum across the internet and possibly looking into making a Google AdSense account, you should continue to expand and innovate - do something that normal gaming forums don't, think of events to do with your community, create groups across the internet for your forum (such as a Steam group, a Facebook group, or a Google+ Circle), get involved as much as possible, etc. Make people WANT to sign up.
EDIT: Social media is always a plus - creating a Facebook/Twitter/Google+ account for your forum can make it easier for people to stay connected and updated.
EDIT2: I notice you have an EXTREME number of boards. If you cut down on the number of boards and consolidated the rest, it would make your forum look less inactive yet overwhelming. And if you think that number of users is a low number, see my gaming forum, who has just me as the only active member.

Lag isn't always caused by DDoS. Could you tell us your time zone and when is your forum lagging?
im not sure but its preety often and smf is always doing it when mine is

Hey i was wondering has smfnew ever thought of buying DDOS Protection? i no its really costly but just offer it for prohosting users only because it will get alot more people creating forums on smf and buying pro hosting because i understand alot of people want a forum hosting whats has good uptime because i was on AIM the otherday and i was speaking to a if you want to say old enemy and he said ive ddosed my site and when i looked it was down then he said he is gonna ddos smfnew and when he did it took down every website thats hosted by smfnew it is just a suggestion and i understand if you wont because as i seen VERY COSTLY but as i said alot of people these days now want hosting with ddos protection
