200 Million RuneScape Accounts

Congratulations to Jagex, my favourite games studio and probable future employer for reaching the largest milestone ever achieved in an MMO - 200 million accounts created since launch! 7 years of time in the game means this milestone is pretty important to me personally, and I can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring!


Still doubtful that RuneScape is still on top? They just won another Guinness World Record, and here's a little infographic.

@MST - I won't forget anyone. SMFNew is another large portion of my life and I'll always remember the experiences I've had here. To be honest, if it's possible, I plan on staying with SMFNew while I'm working at Jagex. It's too awesome here.

Well done to Jagex... But they ruined the game in 2007/2008, it's all about RSPS mate!

In my opinion, the mistakes of the past have been corrected. I hate playing RSPS's. I used to play them, but then I realised that they're very dishonourable and actually can be considered illegal if not done properly. I'd prefer to do something more worthwhile by training and working in the actual game (which I think is honestly better than ever), than working on an RSPS which may or may not stay up for long. I think it's kind of a waste of time.

But meh - to each their own.
