Personal URL and Default Board Settings

So first is the URL. How to I use my own URL(so it doesn't have mybbnew in it)?
Secondly, where do I edit the board default options? Or what are they? Because when I create forums I have to go back and change the cut-off time and stuff cause I'm afraid it won't be what I want.

EDIT: Also, how can I change the language for a skin? I noticed that when made, this site had already preloaded some skins for the forum(which let me say is just awesome, and saves me a whole lot of time). However, some skins were in like... I guess German? How do I change it so it's in English?
