Since SMFNew introduced our unique stop spam system 2 months ago we have stopped a massive 250,000 spam posts from being posted on your forums!

I had Conflicts too with spammers on INP, nice that that is been solved now.

Even though smfnew's spam system is obviously working there are ways you can help stop spammers getting on your forum, simply by adding ban triggers and blocking disposable mail accounts. Here is a small list that you could start adding.

Heres how..
Administration Center » Ban List » Add New Ban

1.  Create a New Ban.
2.  Name it whatever you wish but something that you'll know that it is for this purpose.
3.  Scroll down to the email trigger and add an email as a wildcard such as "*@hotmail.com". Please note that this will stop everyone from registering who tries to use that email in their registration!
4.  Click Save.
5.  Click "Add New Trigger" to add another email.

Remember, you must add each email as a separate trigger.
