There's a update notification on the CP

SMFNew updates the version of SMF for the entire network at once (for free forums). You can only upgrade yourself if you have pro hosting.

There are only two ways to update your forum. One is if you have Pro Hosting, the other is if we update the entire network for you, in which we have earlier today.
