Ahh, I see, that's fairly simple to do. Navigate to your profile page, and under the "Modify Profile" button, select "Account Settings". Scroll down to the section where you can edit the email linked to your account; under that section, there should be something that says "Show others my online status". Check the checkbox there, save your changes, and you should be good to go.

You would need to edit:
Admin> Configuration> Features and Options>

Enable who's online list

User online time threshold [15]

(Then change the 15 to the desired number. 60 = 1hour)...

If you wanted it to count to 24 hours, you'd need to put "1440" in the box, which is how many minutes are in a full day.
