Title: Shout box crown

I was just wondering how I could add crowns an glowing effects to someones name before they speak? Thanks in advance. If anyone could make it a mod, that''d be great because I've been on a couple of forums which have these. And how could I add buttons to the top bar of the forums,( to redirect to my own links)

You cannot do any modifications to your forum if your using the free hosting platform, we cannot allow this. If you want to make a lot of changes you then you will need pro-hosting http://pro.smfnew.com/

Uhm Ok, I will see If I can Purchase Pro Hosting :/ but doesn't mybbnew offer this free?

Is there any way to just purchase single modifications for your forum? Because I really won't be using all of the features of prohosting.

If you bought prohosting, there ae many many many things you would end up doing with it, you just dont realize it yet.

It can't be done, all free forums hosted use the same templates, so editing one template would make changes to every forum.

This is why we have the suggestions board where you can suggest mods/themes to be installed and if enough members support your suggestion then it could have a chance to be installed.

Oh, but I am suggesting for a modification to be made I don't have a link to the Shoutbox crown thing, I want someone to make one :(

No this is not what its here for. You need to find a suitable mod at http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/ once you have found one, only then can you suggest it to be installed.

Just a point that went un-addressed in this thread, MyBBNew no longer exists; we had to remove it from our network because it was bogging down the rest of the SMFNew users, which has grown a lot larger than our old previous "New" networks such as MyBBNew, PHPBBNew, etc. :P
