Keep in mind, you have to have pro-hosting in order to use the mods.

Try tinypic.com.
If uploading as a picture doesn't work, try a video. There used to be a way with tinypic to upload gifs, but I don't quite remember it.

You just have to be patient while they work out the issue. That is all you can do, they are aware of the issue.

I'm going to play around, there should be a way to do it.

After going through every permission, I cannot really see anything that would allow this to happen. Maybe you just make the board default and heavily monitor it, or make it so the threads have to first be approved there in order to post things, no one not intended to post doesn't.

EDIT: After playing around more, it seems my above suggestion is also not possible...

is editing posts broken? it always re-post it.

One thing you could do is change it to reply only. Regular members could only reply to the topics and moderators should be able to edit the posts and such as needed.

The regular members would still be able to posts topics still, am I correct?

I don't think so. They should only be able to reply to the threads posted. You could always run a small test with it too. Whenever I get home I will test it.

Alright, let me know. I can't edit the boards right now due to the database error, so I have no choice but to wait.

Me as well, so I guess we wait to find out, I am also curious now.

Step 1) wait.
step 2) read some other posts in support section.

Nothing you can do, smfnew still has to fix the issue and then they will update everyones board at the same time..

I am getting this error...

Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_7c1_0.MYI' (Errcode: 28)
File: /home/smfnew/public_html/smf/2/Sources/Subs-Boards.php
Line: 1047

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.1, while your database is at version 2.0. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

My website is http://www.theflawless.smfnew.com/index.php.

Refer to the first and third post for information referring to this issue.

You cannot run the update script for many reasons, the main one being security.

We also have no reason to update to 2.0.2 at this point, 2.0.2 is simply a patch it has no visual difference than 2.0.1

Is it a patch for the database issue? If so, I see a huge reason to update.
