Creating Custom Navigation
« on: August 18, 2011, 10:36:11 am »
The default SMFNEW navigation is normally not what people are looking for when they setup their navigation bar, so in this tutorial I'm going to teach you how to setup your own custom navigation bar.

What you'll need:
- A registered SMFNEW Forum.
- Some basic knowledge about SMFNEW Forum editing.

Example:

Step 1.) Login to your Forum with your administrator account.

Step 2.) Click on the "Admin" button at the top where the main menu is located.

Step 3.) Access your Simpleportal and click on the blocks area.

Step 4.) Click on the create button in the specific section that you would like your block to be located.

Step 5.) Choose "Custom BBC" for your block type.

Step 6.) Insert this into your block and fill in the appropriate areas:
Code: [Select]
ENTER TEXT HERE
Step 7.) Keep repeating that process until you have finished all of the blocks you would like.

Example:
Code: [Select]
SMFNEW Support Homepage
What it looks like: SMFNEW Support Homepage

I hope my tutorial helped,

Austin
