Hello,
If you would like to beta test SMF 2.0 RC 1-2 for us, please reply in this thread where a staff member will PM you with the signup link.
Please let us know if you find any bugs with the forum, e.g. cache problems, theme issue or coding problems. Please report them in the general support forum as usual.
Thank you.
Note; there is an initial limit of 50 beta keys. Once we are happy, we will create more keys and post them publicly.
If you are given a code and you click the link you were given and then you make an error during the signup process, for example, short password, invalid forum name, invalid captcha key, your beta key will be rejected and you will need to request a new one. This DOES NOT take over YOUR FORUM. This CREATES A COMPLETELY NEW FORUM.

If your phpBB3 forum was deleted, it would have been caused by one of these situations:
Your forum was over run with spam BOTS, and you did not delete or manage the content in a way that did not violate our terms of service. Therefore, we deleted the forum as you were: 1) No abiding our terms of service 2) Did not show the correct attitude to keeping it clean.
Your forum had not been posted on in 90 days. Therefore, the forum is considered inactive and causing a waste of our resources. Not only this, ANY ADMINISTRATOR of that forum has also NOT logged in for 90 days. Therefore, considered inactive. "Can I restore my forum as i have not posted on it in 90 days?" - Yes, please create a thread in general support and we will do this for free.
Your forum was violating our terms of service. "You had terms of service? I was meant to follow these? Can you restore it and I will follow them in future." - No.
--
This is a warning. We will follow up our terms of service. If you fail to reach the low targets set out by our terms of service, then you will have to deal with the consequences. More enforcement of our terms will be conducted over the next few days. We are also looking into SMFNEW and MYBBNEW.

Hello,
All SMF forums will be upgraded to 1.1.9 on Tuesday, 26th May 2009.
Some forums will not be available for at least 20 minutes.
These is because there are database changes, which need to be ran on every forum. Due to the shear number of forums, the newer your forum is, the longer it will take to update.
Thank you.

FTP Access and other webmaster access
We do not give access to our free forum hosting customers across our network to be able to perform webmaster tasks.
For example: Uploading PHP Files -> Modifications/Plugins & Themes cPanel/WHM FTP phpMyAdmin Awstats etc
If we were to give access to these programs by anybody then anyone would be able to gain access to any forum on the network.
If you require access, then please consider our paid hosting. You will then be given to access to such programs shown above (excluding WHM).
No free forum hosting service will allow you access to any of these tools.
