Hi there and welcome to the SMFNew support forum!

The reason the page is empty is because you need to create EzBlocks for the homepage. For example, if you wanted a quick description of your forum to show up on the home page, you could create a ParseBBC block and put the description there. That menu should include some various settings, including page visibility (titled "Visible Areas").

In the Visible Areas sub-menu, you can choose which pages you want the block to show up on. If you just wanted the description to show up on the homepage, you would need to make sure only the "Portal Homepage" box was ticked. If you want a certain block to show up on other pages in addition to the homepage, you can use this same sub-menu to select where you want it to show up.

I hope this helped, but feel free to ask more questions if you need any further help or guidance. We're happy to have you on board!

Not a problem, we're happy to help! :)

As for your second question, yes, you can add a logo. First, you'll need to upload it to an image hosting site such as Imgur, Imageshack (if you prefer a subscription-based image host) etc. Then, you would need to copy the direct link to your image (the full link rather than any shortened links). Next, navigate to Admin > Layout Settings (under the Configuration category) > Theme Settings > "Logo image URL:", then paste the direct link to the image you want to use in that box. Save the settings and the logo should appear in place of the text in the title bar.

I hope that helped, but as always, feel free to let us know if you need any more help with this!

Once again, I'm happy to help!

You can manage the forum domain by navigating to Admin > Domain Manager (under the "Main" category). However, before you change any of those settings, you need to ensure you have a domain through a host like GoDaddy (for the primary domains such as .com, .net, .org, etc) or through a free domain host such as Dot.TK. Then, utilize the SMFNew domain manager page to help guide you through setting up your domain and forum properly.

As for custom tabs, yes, you can add your own. You would need to navigate to Admin > Style Manager (under the "Configuration" category) > Custom Tabs. There, you'll see three text boxes. The first is "Title", which is where you specify what you want the tab on the bar to say. The second is "Url", which is where you specify where you want the tab to take the user. The third is "Image Icon Url", which allows you to add your own custom icon as you see with the other tabs. Like with your logo, it requires you to upload your custom image to an image host first, after which you'll need to copy-paste the direct URL into the text box. It's recommended that you make sure your image is the same resolution as the other images (16x16 pixels), just to avoid any possible bugs with the site layout.

As always, I hope that helps and feel free to ask if you have further questions!

Hi I successfully added what I want in custom tabs and I have clue now how to change the url thank you so much!
I have four questions xD
First: Is it possible that when they click the new custom tab I added it will open to other tab because when I click it, it will bring me to the url I applied and my forum will be gone. I hope its possible.
Second: Is it possible when I place my mouse on the custom tab that I added there will be something that will show up example: in this forum when I place my mouse in members something will show up and its "View the memberlist" and "Search For Members."
Third: Is it possible that I can transfer the other custom tabs like "Search" and "Members."
Fourth: My shoutbox is bugging because I don't want it to show in my pages example: "Support" then I din't put a check on the visible but still its showing.

Hello again!

1) As far as I know, there isn't currently an option to have the tabs automatically open in a new tab, unfortunately.
2) That's a cool idea, but I don't believe there is an option to do that currently.
3) I'm not sure what you mean by "transfer"; do you mean you want to move them/change their destination? If so, unfortunately, there isn't an option to do that at this time.
4) Did you double-check to make sure you don't have any of the options at the top of the permissions menu ("All Actions and Boards", "Forum", etc) enabled? I know that I've personally done that before by accident, it can be easy to miss.

Hopefully that cleared some things up. :)
