Hey guys,

First we will start with the good news! The control panel has been re-released, this is a large improvement on the previous control panel including tons of new features you have all been asking for!

Try it out by visiting http://www.smfnew.com/manage/ (http://www.smfnew.com/manage/) and click forgotten password

And now we have to announce some sad news, Matt is unfortunately leaving us here at SMFNew. Matt started EasyForumz over 3 years ago and together we built SMFNew and her sisters. Matt has developed SMFNew into what it is today and I am sure you are, as I am, proud of what SMFNew has become. We now host just under 40,000 forums, of which I am sure neither Matt nor myself would have anticipated and we continue to grow day on day. SMFNew certainly will not be the same without Matt but hopefully we can continue to offer the same excellent service Matt strove for.

I hope you all join me in wishing Matt good luck in his next projects.

I would also like to announce that this will be one of my last posts here on SMFNEW as an owner. My time at SMFNEW has finally come to an end; I have devoted over 3 years of my time to this massive project. It is now time for me to move on increase my coding skills while exploring new ideas. I have only been coding PHP & MYSQL for a little over 2 years, mainly because of my desire to increase SMFNEW’s functionality. I plan to advance my career in these skilled areas.

I would like to thank everyone that has helped me along the way, Alex, Nick, Jason, Jacob, the list goes on. Alex will now be taking full ownership of the site; so your familiar faces will still be here. This is a very sad but exciting day for me. Feel free to follow me on twitter, www.twitter.com/mattbwt

It will be sad to see you go Matt, hope you find everything you want if you decide to go somewhere else. Thanks for all the support and for being there for us all! I'm sure you will be sadly missed :(

You were the one who gave me my position here at SMFNew, you've always been a pretty cool guy. ;) Good luck in your future careers, and I hope to be able to work with you again some day. See you :)

I usually come back here once every few months to check up on how you guys are doing.

Really sad to see Matt go, he was great :) The Steve Jobs of SMFnew (funnily enough, Alex does fit into the Tim Cook role).

I am so sad because seeing you leave SMFnew is really making me sad :( I hope though you will come back to check on us and hopefully we will see you as the owner of a new great site and I wish you all the luck in the world because your one of the first people who helped me out to start in this internet world :) thank you again for everything :)



On the other hand the good news are fantastic I mean I loved the CP before and now its back :D good work guys :D
