I already have the crowns I need, I just need help adding them in. I think it has something to do with the header and footer...

You're thinking of another free SMF host...

You can't add the crowns beside your name without a mod. Now you can upload the crowns for your membergroup image, which will show up under the custom title and before the avatar.

You can either suggest it (which it's been suggested several times if I remember correctly), or you can buy pro hosting, which allows you to install mods, themes, and have full access to your forum via FTP.

It's important to note even if he did get pro hosting, he can't install a modification thats not compatible with the SMF version he would be using.
