If I were queen, it would be a crime to break someone's heart. Because heart break leads to depression. And depression leads to crying. And crying leads to self harm. Which leads to suicide. Which is, believe it or not, a crime. Because it's homicide on yourself. SO, breaking somebody's heart would be a crime, because you'd be aiding a homicide. (I do realize this isn't always true....but just IMO teenagers are really f***ing depressed these days....)
It would be the law to tell me bedtime stories - each one of my citizens would have to. It'd be like how people are required for jury duty...But they'd have to tell me bedtime stories. Because I'm 17 but I'm super giddy and childish and bedtime stories about like kitties or bunnies or duckies would make me really smiley.
I'd tackle America's obesity, but in a way I feel the people would enjoy more. I think if I tried to like say no more fatty foods the country would be in an uproar. So I'd simply require all portions be a bit smaller. Then, people can still enjoy their fatty foods, but they'd be getting much less. So eventually they'd start to lose weight just from eating less. It works for me. I'm in no instance a health nut, I eat fatty foods like everyone else. But the thing being that I barely get in one meal a day... Well okay I'm a  bad example I'm underweight .___. But I'm proof that not all American's are obese.
If I were queen, I would ban "labels". Like scene kids or emo kids or girly or jock, etc. In hand, I would ban music being associated with labels. For example, scene kids listen to screamo. I guess I feel teens aren't lumped together...Like okay so I get called a scene kid because I wear colorful skinny jeans and lots of eyeliner. But I can't stand screamo. But I've been friends with some MAJOR idiots trying to tell me because of my clothing style that I have to like certain music and stuff and I'm just like NO. NO. NOOOO. My two favorite bands are Empire Of The Sun and Cut Copy. I like that kind of stuff.
If I were queen, animal shelters would not be allowed to kill animals. Just because a cat or a dog didn't get adopted, they would NOT be allowed to be put down EVER. Shelters would be bigger, and/or I would have a HUGE shelter in my castle's basement where they could go.
If I were queen, I would have an elite team of staff (my best friends) who would help me in matters of distress in my country and all that stuff, because I'm too sensitive for my own good and I'm very bad at making decisions and all that. So my friends would help me :P

The trouble is that not everyone knows when they're hurting others. We all hurt each other at some point in life, whether or not we know it. A more effective way to combat issues like that would be to encourage kindness, and ban any kind of public hate speech (and I'm not talking about disagreeing with others- I mean true hate speech, where a person is belittling an individual person because of something they can't help, such as race, gender, or disability).

As for obesity, the only way you could really force change, is to ban all food except for your basic fruits and vegetables. A more effective way to combat this would be by instituting public dietary programmes and by encouraging healthy eating each way. Perhaps in your kingdom, you could run yearly competitions to see who ate the healthiest? It'd be hard to keep track of, but could help keep obesity under control.

As for labels. Again, there's really no way to fully end labels, but a way to combat it would be by instituting programmes to help schools have the tools necessary to help children being bullied. Even then, in my honest opinion, if someone won't stand up for themselves or go to authority when they clearly are able to, my sympathy goes out the window. I feel it's a situation, somewhat like they're saying "Poor me, I'm going to live a miserable life intentionally by not going to authority about my problems." Just my opinion on that part.

As for animal shelters, I would say that it'd be good to institute laws that regulate euthanising animals to only extreme situations, such as in the case that the animal is suffering or causing danger to someone or itself. And a bit more of my opinion - I'd be more concerned, on my end, about ending abortion and euthanising of human beings (and fighting homicide, particularly by regulating gun and weapon laws to fight as hard as my government could to keep weapons out of private hands) before I'd concern about animals being put down in shelters.

Just my two cents on the issues you addressed. :)

I will let that go, only because my best friend is also named Jacob and his last name also starts with an F :P

Otherwise my stubbornness would wanna be like "NO. MY IDEAS ARE THE BEST. I'M THS QUEEN. ME."

I guess were I to be queen I'd have to look at the nation overall and try and do things a way that'd work for everybody. But I'm too self centered for all that "other people" knowhow.

Every human is born with a strong selfish nature. In order to serve others, you have to let it go, and change your mindset. :)

See, I am very in my own little bubble and have a very stubborn selfish nature. Most of my friends accept that about me and let me feel I'm in control of everything and let me do things my way.

I don't think I'm cut out to be a queen o:

A leader must let go of self, and put the people before themselves. That's the problem these days- too many leaders are focussed on how they can make more money or fame or power for themselves, rather than what's right. Granted, as a Christian, I'd put it in this order: 1. God, 2. My family, 3. The people, 4. Myself; I'd truly love to be a king, and I suppose there's always that possibility, but it's not exactly likely. :P

If I was King, I would make my very own laws.
I would lower the taxes. I would make my people feel as though
they were royalty themselves. Respect from a King to his Kingdom, would
make it grow in size. The people would not feel mistreated. They
would feel love from the king, me, and share theirs in return.

And as a joke, I would change Kentucky's Fried Chicken to
King's Fried Chicken!

If I were king, there would be free WiFi everywhere.
