Users Spamming Notice
« on: June 30, 2010, 01:55:34 pm »
Hello,

It is unfortunate that I am having to make this topic; we have noticed a dramatic rise in the number of users spamming support topics. To provide the BEST support that we can, it makes our job harder to read and respond to support topics which have effectively been hi-jacked by other users. If you did not create the topic, you do not need to respond unless you want to help.

Therefore, giving your opinion on a theme, or opinion on a forum or replying with 'I don't know' is going to make our jobs more difficult. Users doing so are directly violating our regulations, set forth in our rules thread.

Consequently, to curb spammer and thread hi-jackers, we are going to begin enforcing stricter rules in the support board. We did not want to do this, but we have no choice as our jobs are becoming more difficult as users decide to spam support threads. We are having to search the thread for the problem that is in question.

Until now, we would usually delete offending posts. However, we will now begin to warn every post that is made which is considered by staff as spamming or hi-jacking a support thread.

Thank you for your co-operation.

I to hate spammers and I try my best not to spam,

But I to will take note of this topic and I am in full support of what is said here Matt

Thanks
