The Style Manager allows you to modify the CSS of the default theme for SMF. On the main page of the Style Manager, you'll see a selection of premade styles you can use (which you can use as a starting point for making your own style) or you can just create one from scratch by navigating to the Create Style tab.

Uploading custom themes currently isn't supported on SMFNew but the Style Manager offers a very significant amount of customization options so that you can truly personalize your forum to your liking. If you're not familiar with CSS and how it works, check out W3Schools to learn more. They also have tutorials for other things in web development, including HTML, JavaScript, databases (SQL) and more.

I hope that helps! :)

I know this sounds condescending but that's not my intention: are you sure you hit the "Save Settings" bar after filling out each tab's info?

You have to give the tab a title (which will display on the tab itself) and use the URL field to direct the tab to the link you specify. Do you mean that you tried filling out those fields but nothing happened?

Could you take a screenshot of your settings for the custom tab?

Did you try the custom tabs feature? It allows you to customize your custom tabs quite a bit.

Banned for not showing it. Lol I have more of one now, that was when I just had my moustache starting, and I had my goatee for a few years at that point; now I have a chinstrap beard that I modeled after a combination of Qui-Gon from Star Wars and Shane Ochsner from one of my favorite bands, Hands:

Banned because I haven't paid attention to sports a day in my life. 8) Lol I like watching baseball but I don't watch regularly, I think the last time I watched a game was maybe 4 or 5 years ago.

Nice, NF is the only hip-hop/rap artist I can actually sit down and listen to! Haven't heard any of his new stuff yet though, last thing I heard was Therapy Session.

Anyways, Red's Of Beauty and Rage is my jam for now. I'm looking forward to their new album, but Of Beauty and Rage was their best album so far in my book (followed closely by their second album, Innocence & Instinct). Here's one of the singles from OBaR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wfo4Jbn1fiY

In the future, if possible, please try to write your posts in 10pt font size or higher. :) Glad you were able to recover your account!

Hmm, odd, it doesn't show up as a clickable link for me. Do you possibly have a browser addon that might fix broken links? If so, it could be that addon is unwittingly trying to "fix" a link that isn't broken.

I'm not 100% sure I'm fully understanding what problem you're having: you're saying that you typed a URL within a BBCode code block, but that the URL displays as a clickable link rather than simply text?

If that's the case, does the code BBCode work at all for any other text?

Hi kisrooster,

Please create a new support topic for any questions you may have, so that we can dedicate proper attention to your question instead of using a solved support topic.

Thanks!
